Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

The Opportunity

Boise State University is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (VPSAEM). The new VPSAEM must be a highly qualified, experienced and innovative executive who will act as the University’s chief strategist on all matters related to student services and enrollment in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs . The Vice President reports directly to the President and serves as the institutional advocate for students and student services. Additionally, the position is responsible for leading institutional initiatives related to student affairs and enrollment: student success and retention, recruitment and postgraduate outcomes.

Qualifications required

  • A preferred doctorate or an outstanding combination of master’s degree and relevant achievement in a field such as higher education administration or an academic field;
  • Minimum of five to eight years of senior-level experience in student affairs with progressively responsible experiences within the student affairs division;
  • Demonstrated successful experience in administration, including strategic planning, budgeting, resource management, student information systems, program evaluation and curriculum development; and
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate with transparency and clarity
